Located in the heart of Ginzan Onsen, Shirogane Bath House offers a modern and accessible hot spring experience. Designed by architect Kengo Kuma, this stylish bathhouse features separate bathing areas that alternate between men and women, with one floor offering scenic views and the other a more intimate, cave-like atmosphere. The hot spring water is known for its slightly hot temperature and subtle sulfur scent, providing a relaxing soak for day-trippers. Keep in mind that space is limited, with only a few people allowed in at a time, and bathing hours are primarily during the daytime. Note that after 5 PM, the bathhouse is reserved for local residents.
