The Bell of Reconstruction is located in front of JR Kamaishi Station in Iwate Prefecture, serving as a poignant memorial to the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 2011. The bell was unveiled on December 31, 2011, thanks to funds raised by a reconstruction project. It is engraved with the words "Remembrance," "Memory," "Hope," and "Reconstruction." Visitors are welcome to ring the bell as a gesture of prayer and reflection. A monument with floral offerings stands nearby. The bell's monument features a design of clasped hands, symbolizing unity and support.
