Nabegataki Park, located in Oguni, Kumamoto, is famous for its stunning Nabegataki Falls. This waterfall boasts a wide curtain of water cascading 10 meters down, creating a picturesque scene. Uniquely, visitors can walk behind the falls into a cave-like space, offering a magical perspective. Note that advance online reservations are required to visit. The park is especially beautiful in early summer and during the autumn foliage season. The entrance fee is ¥300 for adults (high school age and older), ¥150 for elementary and junior high school students, and free for younger children. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the short walk down to the falls.
