The Fujimura Memorial Hall, located in Magome, Nakatsugawa City, is dedicated to the renowned author Shimazaki Toson, who was active during the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods. Situated on the site of his birthplace and former Magome-juku Honjin, the museum houses approximately 6,000 items, including original manuscripts of works like "The Quince," personal belongings, related materials, and a collection of rare Meiji and Taisho poetry books. Visitors can explore exhibits tracing Toson's life, including a replica of his study from Oiso, Kanagawa Prefecture, where he spent his final years. The hall is a 10-minute walk from the Magome bus stop (30-minute bus ride from JR Nakatsugawa Station).
