The Kotozakura Memorial Hall, located in the Kurayoshi City Utsubuki Tamagawa preservation district, commemorates the achievements of Kotozakura, the 53rd Yokozuna (Grand Champion) of sumo wrestling, who was born in Kurayoshi. Housed in a renovated traditional townhouse, the museum features exhibits such as ceremonial sumo belts, trophies, photos, and videos that highlight his career and legacy. Admission is free, making it an accessible and interesting stop for sumo fans and casual visitors alike. The hall is closed during the New Year holidays. A bronze statue of Kotozakura can also be found nearby.
