Hitsujiyama Park, located on a hill overlooking Chichibu City, is famous for its stunning display of cherry blossoms and moss phlox (shibazakura) in the spring. The park features the Bukozan Museum and Yamato Art Museum on its north side, while the south side offers the Shibazakura Hill, a petting zoo, and a playground. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks and panoramic views. The best time to visit is mid-April to early May to see the moss phlox in full bloom. Parking is available, but during the Shibazakura Festival, there may be traffic regulations on weekends and holidays.
