Located in the pine groves of Imi Beach, Imi Betsugu Shrine is a branch of Kyoto's Ishimizu Hachimangu Shrine, revered for fertility and safe childbirth. The shrine features the largest Kunisaki Pagoda on the Kunisaki Peninsula, designated as an Important Cultural Property. Visitors can also see the Inyo-shin, stones shaped like male and female genitalia, symbolizing fertility. The shrine is accessible by bus from Usa Station and is known for its Yabusame (horseback archery) festival held annually on October 15th.
