Daihoshi Park, recognized as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom spots, is located in Fujikawa Town, Yamanashi Prefecture. The park features approximately 2,000 cherry trees, primarily Somei Yoshino, creating a stunning pink landscape on a small hilltop. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Kofu Basin, Mount Fuji, and the Yatsugatake Mountains. The best time to visit is during the annual Sakura Festival from late March to early April, though it can get crowded. The park offers accessible facilities, including support for guide dogs. Note that the park is located at the top of a steep hill, but is easily accessible by car.
