Located at the 5th station of the Rishiri Mountain Kutsugata climbing course, Mikaeridai Garden offers panoramic views of Kutsugata town and even Rebun Island from its observation deck. The garden is accessible by a 10-minute drive from Kutsugata Port, though the road can be narrow and requires caution. Open from late April to mid-October (subject to snow conditions), the garden features a wheelchair-accessible restroom and public phone. While the 100-step climb to the observation point may be tiring, clear days reward visitors with stunning vistas of Rishiri Mountain and the surrounding landscape. Be sure to check the weather forecast before visiting, as fog can obstruct the views.
Barrier-free facilities: Wheelchair-accessible toilet, observation deck, and public telephone.
