Tsu Kannon Temple, formally known as Keijitsuzan Kannon Temple, is located in the heart of Tsu City and is revered as one of Japan's Three Great Kannon Temples, alongside Asakusa Temple in Tokyo and Osu Kannon Temple in Nagoya. Founded in 709, the temple is known for its main hall and a striking five-story pagoda. Visitors can easily access the temple via a short bus ride from Kintetsu Tsu Station. The temple offers a serene atmosphere, making it a peaceful retreat in the city. The temple is particularly lively during the Tsu Festival in autumn and the monthly fair on the 18th.
