Nishigataki Waterfall, a modest 10-meter cascade, is located near the north entrance of the Murou Tunnel on Yamanami Road. Historically, monks from Shiraiso Kozenji Temple in Tsuge performed waterfall purification rituals here, and locals conducted rainmaking ceremonies. While most impressive after rainfall, the falls are easily visible from the road. A small parking area is available, but exercise caution when crossing the road due to speeding traffic. It's conveniently accessible by car, just 10 minutes from Murouji Temple. A great spot for a quick nature break.
