Daisen-in Temple, known locally as "Daisen-san," is a Shingon Buddhist temple easily recognized by its striking red bell tower gate. Located in Kasoka, it's an 8-minute walk from Kasaoka Station and 15 minutes by car from Kasaoka IC. The temple is particularly lively on the 24th day of the old lunar calendar when a fair is held. The temple is associated with the worship of Mount Daisen, and the temple grounds feature a main hall rebuilt in 1737, a public restroom, and benches. The "Daisen-dori" street leading to the temple indicates its central role in the community.
