Located in the Ozushi area of Ehime Prefecture, the Former Kato Family Residence Main Building is a historic structure within Otonosama Park, near Ozu Castle. Built in 1925 by Kato Yasuhiro, a descendant of the former Ozu clan lord, this two-story wooden residence blends traditional Japanese style with Western influences. Today, it operates as the luxurious NIPPONIA HOTEL, offering a unique lodging experience. While interior tours may be limited to hotel guests, visitors can admire the building's preserved facade and explore the surrounding park. The residence is a short walk from the San-no-Maru bus stop and Ozu Honmachi bus stop. Open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (April to September) and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (October to March), closed during the New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3).
