The Ashikita Town Hoshino Tomihiro Museum is one of only two museums in Japan dedicated to the artwork of Tomihiro Hoshino, a poet and artist who created stunning flower paintings and inspiring poems despite a severe disability. Located in Ashikita, Kumamoto, the museum features a permanent collection of Hoshino's lithographs, with rotating exhibits throughout the year. The museum is fully accessible, with wheelchair ramps and accessible restrooms. Open to visitors of all ages, it offers a peaceful and inspiring experience. Admission is ¥500 for adults, ¥300 for children, and free for preschoolers. Discount available with JAF card.
