Visit the Mount Tsukuba Plum Festival at the Tsukuba Plum Grove, located on the mountainside of Mount Tsukuba. Enjoy panoramic views of the plum blossoms set against the Kanto Plain. The best time to visit is late February to late March to see the plum blossoms in full bloom. The grove is accessible via a 40-minute shuttle bus ride from TX Tsukuba Station to the Tsukubasan Jinja Iriguchi bus stop, followed by a 5-minute walk. There are also stage events and tea ceremonies planned. Parking is available for a fee in municipal parking lots 1-4.
