Jokoji Temple, located in Seto City, is the family temple of the Owari Tokugawa clan. The mausoleum of Yoshinao, the founder of the clan, is a rare Confucian-style structure and an Important Cultural Property. The temple grounds, shaded by old cedar trees, offer a tranquil atmosphere. It's accessible via a 15-minute walk from Jokoji Station on the JR Chuo Main Line or a 20-minute drive from the Kasugai IC on the Tomei Expressway. The temple is known for its beautiful cherry blossoms in spring and vibrant foliage in autumn. Note that there is a fee to enter certain areas of the temple.
