Explore the Kumagai Family Residence, an Important Cultural Property in the heart of the Iwami Ginzan silver mine area. This expansive 650-square-meter residence once belonged to the wealthy Kumagai family, who managed the silver mine in the 17th century and later engaged in sake brewing and served as purveyors to the local government. Wander through the numerous rooms and discover the lifestyle of a prosperous merchant family during the silver mine's peak. The residence is located a 5-minute walk from the Omori Daikansho Ato bus stop. Open to the public, admission is ¥520 for adults and ¥100 for children.
