The Ishikawa Wajima Lacquer Art Museum is one of Japan's few museums specializing in lacquer art. Its exterior is reminiscent of the Shosoin Treasure House in Nara. Inside, visitors can admire a beautiful piano adorned with intricate designs and a rich collection of valuable lacquerware. The museum showcases both historical artifacts from the Edo period and contemporary works by acclaimed artisans. Located a short bus ride from Wajima Futto Tomu Roadside Station, the museum offers a serene atmosphere to appreciate the artistry of Wajima lacquerware. Note that photography is restricted in some areas of the museum.
