Miyahara Shrine, located in Arida City, Wakayama Prefecture, is a small, beautifully renovated shrine cherished by locals. While a bit off the beaten path, it's known for the stunning cherry blossoms that bloom on the mountain behind the shrine in late March. During the cherry blossom season, the shrine grounds are illuminated with lanterns, attracting many visitors for hanami (flower viewing). Be aware that the roads leading to the shrine are narrow, which may make access challenging for first-time visitors. The shrine offers a peaceful and scenic escape, especially during the spring.
