Mt. Naeba, also known as Naebasan, is a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The summit features a vast 600-hectare marshland dotted with numerous ponds, offering stunning views and a chance to see alpine plants like cotton grass and Chingu-ruma. The most accessible route to the summit is from the village of Sakae, making it a relatively easy climb. The area is particularly beautiful from early summer to late autumn. After your hike, relax and rejuvenate in one of the many nearby onsen (hot springs).
