Overview

Visit the AER Observation Terrace for panoramic views of Sendai! Located on the 31st floor of the AER building near Sendai Station, this free observation deck offers stunning vistas of the city skyline, including sights like Sendai Daikannon. The terrace is divided into east and west viewing areas, each providing unique perspectives—the east side overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Tohoku Shinkansen, while the west side offers views of the city and illuminated shopping streets at night. Open until 8 PM, it's a perfect spot for both daytime sightseeing and evening city lights. Note that the space is primarily indoors, so it's comfortable year-round, though some areas may be exposed to the elements.
