Inakadate Village Rice Paddy Art is a unique attraction in Aomori Prefecture, where expansive rice fields are transformed into giant artworks. Using different varieties of rice, intricate designs are created annually, drawing visitors to see the evolving displays. The art can be viewed from observation decks at two main sites: the Village Office and the Yayoi no Sato. Each site requires a small admission fee. Shuttle buses connect the two sites, making it easy to explore both. The best time to visit is from June to October to see the art in full color.
