Explore Saijo Sakagura Street, located a short 5-minute walk from JR Saijo Station on the Sanyo Main Line, where seven sake breweries converge. Admire the iconic white-walled breweries, 'namako' walls, and red brick chimneys that create a unique atmosphere, especially fragrant during sake brewing season. Some breweries offer tours and sake tasting (reservations may be required). Free volunteer guides are available on the 10th of each month and on Sundays; otherwise, paid tours are available with advance booking. This area is perfect for strolling and experiencing the heart of Hiroshima's sake culture.
