The Masuda City Museum of History and Folklore is housed in a nationally registered cultural property, a building reminiscent of an old elementary school with a striking red roof. The museum showcases historical and folk materials from the Jomon period, offering insights into the local history and traditional life of Masuda. Please note that the museum is currently closed for renovations as of 2019. Located in Honmachi, Masuda, it's a 10-minute bus ride from Masuda Station. When it reopens, admission is ¥200 for adults, and free for high school students and younger. The facility offers accessible restrooms and ramps.
