Tsubakiyama is home to a northern limit of wild Yabu Camellias. Located in Fukaura, Aomori, it's a 5-minute walk from JR Wespa Tsubakiyama Station. The best time to visit is from March to April when the camellias are in bloom. Note that access may be restricted to protect the cultural heritage. You can also view the area from the Wespa Tsubakiyama's observation onsen.
