Nomizo Falls, located in Kimitsu, Chiba, is a picturesque spot famous for the heart-shaped light reflection that occurs in the cave during early mornings in March and September. Easily accessible by car, the area features the Kameiwa Cave and the Shimizu Keiryu Hiroba (Clear Stream Valley Plaza). While the heart-shaped light is seasonal, the falls offer year-round beauty with fireflies in summer and vibrant autumn foliage. A network of walking trails and maintained paths makes it easy to explore. Note that public transport options are limited, but a community-operated taxi service is available from Kazusa-Kameyama Station. The falls are a popular destination, so parking can be busy, especially on weekends.
