Europpan Kimuraya, established in 1927 as a branch of the famous Ginza Kimuraya, is a beloved bakery in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture. Known for being the first to introduce anpan (sweet bean bread) to Sabae, this bakery blends traditional techniques with modern flair. A must-try is their signature Daifuku Anpan, a unique combination of anpan and daifuku (rice cake). Also popular is the Guntai Katapan, a recreation of hard bread made for soldiers in the past.
