Originally a temple called Jorenji, it was converted to a shrine during the Meiji Restoration. Rebuilt after a fire in 1893, along with the Toki no Kane, the shrine provides a serene atmosphere amidst the bustling streets of Kawagoe. Visitors can easily access it by passing under the Toki no Kane. The shrine also features an Inari shrine on its grounds. It's a compact and peaceful spot to visit while exploring Kawagoe's historic district.
