Overview

The Kiyoharu Shirakaba Museum in Hokuto, Yamanashi, carries on the legacy of the Shirakaba literary movement, showcasing a collection of Shirakaba-related paintings, writings, and modern Western art. The museum also features the "Klaeve Gallery," a museum of light that opened in April 2011. Located a 5-minute taxi or 30-minute walk from JR Nagasaka Station, or a 10-minute drive from the Nagasaka IC on the Chuo Expressway, the museum is easily accessible. The Kiyoharu Art Village, where the museum is located, offers a harmonious blend of nature, architecture, and art, with buildings designed by renowned architects like Ando Tadao and Taniguchi Yoshio. Note that bringing food and drinks is not allowed.
