The Goshogawara Tachineputa Festival is a dynamic summer event held in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture. The festival features towering Tachineputa floats, some reaching 23 meters in height and weighing around 19 tons, parading through the city streets. These massive illuminated floats create a stunning spectacle against the urban landscape. The festival is held annually from August 4th to 8th. The best viewing spots are around the Tachineputa Museum or along the main streets where the floats parade. Don't miss the Goshogawara Fireworks Festival on August 3rd, the day before the Tachineputa Festival begins.
