Sōrin-ji Temple Garden, located in Ube, Yamaguchi, is a nationally designated scenic spot featuring one of the oldest gardens in the prefecture. Known as Ryūshin-tei, the garden showcases a unique landscape with artificial hills and a pond, highlighted by the rare 'Yabakuseki' (night mooring stones) and 'Higata-yo' (tidal flat style) arrangements dating back to the Nanboku-chō period. The garden is located in front of the temple's study and offers a tranquil atmosphere. The temple is accessible by bus from JR Ube-Shinkawa Station. Visit during the autumn foliage season for a particularly stunning view.
