Masakari Plaza, located in Mutsu City, is a tourist information center and souvenir shop offering local products from the Shimokita Peninsula. Situated near Shimokita Station, it provides a convenient spot for visitors to gather information and purchase regional specialties like Aomori Hiba bath products and local sake. The plaza features exhibits on the Shimokita region's attractions, cuisine, history, culture, nature, marine science, and industry. It's an ideal place to learn about the peninsula and find unique souvenirs. Open daily except Tuesdays (year-round) and during the summer months (April to October).
