Nagatoro-san Fudo-ji Temple, officially known as Nagatoro-san Godai-in Fudo-ji, is a Shingon Buddhist temple located near the Hodosan Ropeway in Nagatoro. It's known as one of the Nagatoro Autumn Seven Flowers Temples, famous for its pinks. Besides the flowers, the temple also features weeping plum blossoms and a path through cherry trees on the back hill. A highlight is the Daigo cherry tree, a gift from Kyoto's Daigo-ji Temple. The temple is also known for the Nagatoro Fire Festival held annually on March 1st. Visit in spring to see the plum blossoms and cherry blossoms, or in autumn for the seven flowers.
