Discover the Shono-juku Museum in Suzuka, Mie Prefecture, dedicated to preserving and showcasing the historical artifacts of the Shono-juku post town. Housed in a partially restored former Kobayashi family residence (a designated city cultural property), the museum features exhibits of local folk tools, farming implements, and everyday items. Visitors can explore the meticulously recreated traditional home and learn about the Edo period. Located a 10-minute walk from JR Kasado Station or a short C-BUS ride from Kintetsu Hiratacho Station, the museum offers free admission and a glimpse into the past. Please note that photography is not allowed inside the museum. Open from 10:00 to 16:00, closed on Mondays (open if it's a holiday), Tuesdays, the 3rd Wednesday of the month, and during the New Year holidays.
