Located within the Rinpu-kaku Villa, the Hōryūin Garden is a serene Japanese garden designed in the late Edo period. Created by the 12th lord, Ikeda Keitoku, to comfort Lady Hōryūin, the garden features a circuit-style layout with a pond, rock formations, and lush greenery. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful stroll and admire the blend of Japanese garden design with the backdrop of the Western-style Rinpu-kaku. The garden is free to enter, though there is a fee to enter Rinpu-kaku itself. It's easily accessible by the Kururi loop bus from Tottori Station. A visit to the garden is best enjoyed during the day to fully appreciate the scenery.
