Wataga Falls

Overview

Wataga Falls, located in Hakusan, Ishikawa Prefecture, is a stunning natural attraction within the Tedori Canyon. The falls cascade 32 meters down, creating a cotton-like appearance as the water sprays. Visitors can reach the falls via a steep path from the Ikoi-no-Mori park, offering close-up views of the powerful waterfall and unique blue-tinted river. While there's an observation deck, the best views are from the base of the falls, accessible by a somewhat challenging staircase. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing for the descent. The falls are a highlight of the Tedori River gorge, known for its scenic beauty and opportunities for activities like rafting in the summer.
