Yakusugi Land

Overview

Yakusugi Land is a vast natural recreation forest located at approximately 1,000m above sea level, offering various walking trails through ancient Yakusugi cedar forests. Visitors can explore diverse courses ranging from 30 minutes to 3.5 hours, suitable for different fitness levels. Highlights include the 1,800-year-old Buddha Cedar, giant fir trees, and alpine plants. The trails are well-maintained, but some courses require proper hiking shoes. Located a 50-minute drive from Anbo Port, it's an ideal spot to experience Yakushima's nature, with an entrance fee of ¥500.
