Unpenji Temple Peak Park

Overview

Located adjacent to Unpenji Temple, the 66th temple on the Shikoku Pilgrimage and the highest elevation temple of the 88, Unpenji Temple Peak Park offers stunning panoramic views. From the 927m summit of Mount Unpenji, visitors can see the Mitoyo Plain, the Seto Inland Sea, the Seto Great Bridge connecting Honshu and Shikoku, and even the Chugoku region. The park features a spacious lawn with colorful tables and benches, a wooden "Sky Photo Frame," and a "Sky Swing" for two. Enjoy breathtaking scenery and photo opportunities, and consider visiting the mountaintop cafe for coffee. Access is a 15-minute drive from Ohnohara IC or 25 minutes from Kanonji Station.
