Located in the former residence of Count Uesugi, this memorial hall offers a glimpse into the life of the Uesugi family. The two-story building features copper roofing and is constructed entirely of Japanese cypress. The garden, modeled after Tokyo's Hamarikyu Gardens, is considered one of the three most beautiful gardens in Yonezawa. Today, the hall serves as a restaurant where you can savor local cuisine. It's located within walking distance of Uesugi Shrine in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture. Admission to the hall and gardens is free.
