Keizo Koyama Museum of Art

Overview

The Keizo Koyama Museum of Art, located in Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture, showcases the modern paintings of Keizo Koyama, a Western-style painter and recipient of the Order of Culture. The museum building was designed by architect Togo Murano. Adjacent to the museum is the Keizo Koyama Memorial Hall, which houses a relocated atelier and part of Koyama's residence. Visitors can enjoy Koyama's artwork and the architecture, as well as views of the Chikuma River. The museum is accessible via a common ticket with the Komoro Kaikoen Park. It's a peaceful spot surrounded by trees, offering a glimpse into the life and work of a renowned artist.
