Tanaka Garden, named after sculptor Hirakushi Denchu, is a tranquil 5,240 square meter Japanese garden located against the eastern slope of Mt. Nanto in Ibara, Okayama. The garden features bronze statues of Denchu's representative works, including "Mirror Lion," and is known for its serene atmosphere and seasonal flowers and trees. Donated by a descendant of Kyohei Magoshi, three Chinese pistache trees add to the garden's charm. Visitors can also enjoy the Furoan tea house. Located a 10-minute walk from Ibara Station and a 20-minute drive from Kasaoka IC, it's an ideal spot for a peaceful stroll and reflection.
