Gobotaki Falls

Overview

Gobotaki Falls, located in Yaotsu, Gifu Prefecture, is a scenic spot featuring five waterfalls, including the three-tiered main falls and the smaller Niten and Enmyo Falls, where the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi is said to have trained. Visitors can enjoy the falls throughout the year, with stunning autumn foliage. The well-maintained trails make it an easy hike, though some sections can be steep. The area also includes a park and is ideal for a refreshing escape into nature. Best visited during the warmer months or autumn for the colorful leaves.
