Enoshima Shrine is a collective name for three shrines on Enoshima Island: Hetsumiya, Nakatsumiya, and Okutsumiya, each dedicated to a goddess. It's revered as a deity for traffic safety, abundant catches, bountiful harvests, and bringing happiness and wealth, as well as improving skills in the arts. Located a 20-minute walk from Odakyu Katase-Enoshima Station, the shrine offers barrier-free access with acceptance of guide dogs. The shrine is known for its beautiful views and spiritual atmosphere. Visitors can explore each of the three shrines, each with its unique architecture and history. Consider using the Enoshima Escar escalators to ease the climb. The best time to visit is during the day to fully appreciate the scenic surroundings.
