Located in the heart of Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture, Juzo Shrine is a historic site with over 1300 years of history. Revered as the guardian shrine of Kawai Town, it may also be one of the oldest shrines in the Noto region. While the main hall was rebuilt in its original form after a fire in the early 20th century, the shrine retains its spiritual significance and features a wooden Bodhisattva mask designated as an Important Cultural Property. Visitors can explore the shrine grounds and experience a sense of tranquility away from the bustling Wajima Morning Market. A small satellite shrine is located in the Wajima Morning Market for easier access. The shrine is a 10-minute walk from the Wajima Tourist Information Center.
