Wakasa Iteki Bunko is a serene literary museum nestled in the mountains of Fukui Prefecture, dedicated to the works of author Tsutomu Minakami. Visitors can immerse themselves in Minakami's world, exploring exhibits featuring his books, illustrations, and the oil paintings and sketches of Jun Watanabe, who designed many of his book covers. The museum also houses Minakami's personal library, which visitors can browse. A highlight is the beautiful traditional puppet theater stage, which hosts occasional performances.
