Koshun Temple, located in Akizuki, Asakura City, is the family temple of the Akizuki Kuroda clan. It was established by Kuroda Nagahiro, the first lord of the Akizuki domain, to commemorate his father, Kuroda Nagamasa. The temple grounds house the graves of Nagamasa and successive lords of the Akizuki domain. Visitors can also find the grave of Rokuro Usui, known for the last revenge act in Japan. Located a short distance from the city center, it's a representative temple of Akizuki, often called "Little Kyoto of Chikuzen."
