Tameyoshi's Grave, a designated cultural property of Ibara City, is located in the mountainous area near Kasaoka City. The grave site, enclosed by an earthen wall, features a raised stone platform resembling a Sumeru altar, upon which nine gorinto (five-ringed pagodas) stand. According to local legend, Minamoto no Tameyoshi, after escaping exile from Izu Oshima following the Hogen Rebellion, traveled to Ryukyu and later sought refuge with a monk at the nearby Kongofuku Temple, where he eventually passed away. While historical accounts state he committed suicide on Izu Oshima, this legend adds to the heroic tales surrounding him. The site is accessible by taxi from Ibara Station (15 minutes).
