Overview

Atami Onsen, one of Japan's most famous hot spring resorts, is easily accessible just a 1-minute walk from Atami Station. Known as the setting for Ozaki Koyo's "Konjiki Yasha," Atami boasts a stunning cityscape often called the "Naples of the Orient." The area enjoys a mild climate, with early-blooming Atami cherry blossoms appearing in late January. Nearby attractions include the MOA Museum, home to numerous masterpieces, and Atami Baien, famous for its early-blooming plum blossoms.
