Standing at 2,531 meters, this independent mountain offers a rewarding climb with panoramic views from its unique, rocky summit. The most popular route starts from the 7th Station trailhead, though routes from Okawara Pass and Suzuran Pass are also available. The summit features a wide, rocky plateau, offering 360-degree views of the surrounding landscapes, including the Yatsugatake Mountains and the Northern Alps. Be sure to bring gloves for the rocky climb to the summit. The best time to visit is during the summer months for hiking, or in winter for a snow-covered landscape.
