Hachi Highlands is a freely accessible ski resort located on the southern slopes of Mt. Hachibuse, at an elevation of 1,221m. Known for its expansive, gentle slopes, it's particularly suited for beginners and families. A shared lift pass allows access to Hachi Kita Highlands on the mountain's north side, providing a variety of terrain for different skill levels. The resort features 11 slopes with a maximum gradient of 35 degrees and a longest run of 3.5km. There are terrain parks, ski and snowboard schools, and dedicated kids' areas. Hachi Highlands is accessible by car from the Yoka-Hyōnosen IC (25km) or by bus from Yoka Station (50 minutes).
